But how exactly do we transform water bottles into these adorable Ecokins stuffed animals? The process begins with shredding, cleaning, sanitizing, and melting the water bottles, turning them into fibers that are spun into an incredibly soft fabric yarn. This repurposed material is then used to create the fabric, fiber fill, and sewing thread for the plush toys. It's truly unbelievable how soft and huggable these stuffed animals are, considering their humble origins as water bottles. Furthermore, the eyes and nose are embroidered using recycled thread, making them safe for babies. Additionally, we opt for recycled paper hangtags printed with soy ink and cotton string instead of plastic cord.
